I am failing math right now. I think if I keep my ways up I might actually fail the marking period and I don’t want that to happen because my parents would flip. I don’t want to go to summer school or something, so please, can you help me find ways to improve my grade?

Dear Sucks in Math
Math can be difficult. Trust me flunking won't be a problem if you change your ways. There is still a lot of marking period left so you have plenty of time to bring up your grade. If you need some motivation think about failing math and ending up in summer school, not a very fun place when you could be enjoying your summer at the beach.
To start off make sure you do all of your homework. Homework is often the key that will make or break your grade. Also, the assignments will give you practice so you know what your doing. Doing your homework the right way will make it easier to see what you are having problems with. It will give you more of an opportunity to ask your teacher a specific question about the lesson. Also, there is typically a marking period project which means that it can help your grade a lot.
Then once you do your homework and you still need to bring your grade up try studying. Find some extra problems in you text book or on-line. Once you are finished with the problems have someone that knows about what your doing in math check them. Someone you could get to help is a parent or teacher. Maybe try finding a study buddy, a person that is really good in math can help you a lot. If you don't have time for a study buddy then try taking extra notes in class. Taking a lot of notes will make it easier to look back and see how to solve an equation.
Do you now see that you have a ton of options, that way you won't end up in summer school. Just remember to do all of your homework, study, and make sure you are doing the problems the right way. Good luck in math, I'm sure you will do just fine.
