Dear MS Cabby,
It's the beginning of the school year and I want to start out the school year right. My locker is one thing I need to be organized so that I can find everything I need and get to my classes on time. Do you have suggestions for me so I can organize my locker and start out this school year right?

Dear Messy Locker,
There are many ways you can organize a messy locker. Start by cleaning out your locker, throw out any papers that you don’t need. If you have any other pieces if trash you should throw that away too. Once your locker is nice and clean the you can start organizing your binders. One way to do this is color coordinate all of your binders, such as green for science, or blue for math. Also if you have text books for all of your classes get colorful book socks to decorate them, it will also help if you know what cover is for what class. Now if your locker is crammed with binders and textbooks then you should try getting locker shelves, it will help keep all your books lined up and in order. Also if you have extra time in the morning then you should put your binders in order of class period. It will help you be able to grab your books and go straight to your next class. Some other little things you can do are put a schedule of your classes in your locker that way you will always know where you are going next. Another thing that you can do is get a mirror in your locker so you don’t have to go to the bathroom to check your hair or make –up. I hope this helped.

If you have any other pieces of trash, you should throw that away too. Once your locker is nice and clean, then you can start organizing your binders. One way to do this is color coordinate all of your binders, such as green for science, or red for math. Also, if you have text books for all of your classes get colorful book socks to decorate them, it will also help if you know what cover is for what class. Now, if your locker is crammed with binders and textbooks, then you should try getting locker shelves; it will help keep all of your books lined up and in order.
